Cochin to Munnar is a 120kms drive and takes 3.5-4.5 hours on normal traffic conditions ,half of the drive is uphill and breezing through the cold and fog .

You can find many waterfalls on your way uphill .Don't forget to capture this is in your frame as its a breath to behold.
One of the other major attractions is the Top station where you can find the mountains touching the sky .
Don't forget to visit the Tea Museum were you can request for a show on the wonderful documentary on the origins of tea plantations.Munnar is also where the first Hydroelectric power project was started in India .
